Sermon Outline

Kernel: Two themes shine forth in the end of Exodus 15 through the end of 16. The first theme is the grumbling of the people and difficulty they have simply listening to the call of the LORD. The second theme is the grace towards them from the LORD that is meant to help them find rest in him.

This points forward to a better rest for the people of God by faith in Jesus. We can rest from our works, humble ourselves before God, and rest in the finished work of Jesus on our behalf who is our true spiritual food and drink.
