“Fear the God Who Fights for You” — Pastor Dave Zuleger
Sermon Outline
Kernel: Israel sees the Egyptians pursuing them and they are filled with fear that causes them to grumble against Moses and God himself as they believe that they are headed towards graves in the wilderness. Moses calls them to be silent and watch the LORD fight for them. The LORD does, and by the end of the story they fear not the Egyptians, but God and believe that he has them headed towards the promised land.
This points forward to the reality of Christ perfectly fulfilling the exodus for the people of God to know that he will fight for them and ultimately bring them to a final rest in the new heavens and new earth.
