Advent is a time of remembering the goodness of God in Christ where he made an end to the punishment for our sin, and tuning our hearts to long for his return that will make an end to sin and suffering once and for all.

As you walk through this Advent season with plenty of joys and sorrows to go around––remember that they are all working in the hands of your Savior to bring you to a more sure and more steady hope in him. He will never let us go. He's working. He's moving. He's sustaining. He will be there with new mercies day-by-day until we are with him face-to-face.
